About Me...
I grew up hearing my father fill our house with music that he played on an old player
piano he inherited from his grandfather. At a very young age, I was inspired and
took a keen interest in learning to play piano.
Although my dad has taught me many tricks along the way, I could not have gotten
to where I am now without regular piano lessons. I've had a variety of teachers
that have not only taught me how to play piano, but how to teach piano.
I hope to take the best of what I have learned and pass that on to my students from
my home in Ottawa where I teach on the same piano that
my father inspired me to play.
Experience & Qualifications
Having completed my grade nine in Royal Conservatory music,
I am currently working toward my grade 10 playing and my
grade four theory.
I am also enrolled in the University of Ottawa's music program as a part time
student. When finished, I hope to attain a bachelor's of arts
specializing in music as well as
a broader understanding of music in general.
Woodvale Pentecostal Church allows me the opportunity to sing in the choir and
play in the worship band as one of the pianists.
